A crisis can occur at any time.  When the crisis involves an Alzheimer's or dementia patient the situation becomes even more complex. When the crisis involves an elder person with an Alzheimer's/dementia diagnosis, they may show symptoms and exhibit behavior that requires immediate intervention.  If people that are untrained in dementia attempt to assess the patient, the patient may be at risk for inappropriate treatment, hospitalization, or incarceration.

The purpose of our Alzheimer's Care Crisis Line is to restore the Alzheimer's or dementia patient to their maximum level of functioning enabling them to remain in their own home or in the least restrictive environment, for as long as it is financially and physically possible.

Sometimes a caregiver faces a crisis.... Emotional, physical or psychological... Our Alzheimer's Care Crisis Line and our entire staff is here to help get you through...

Our Crisis Care Managers are all Advanced Degreed Professionals, Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Certified Geriatric Care Managers.  Their role is to:

                    Provide immediate crisis intervention

 Identify the problem

  Find the solution

Coordinate and implement all appropriate resources

  Assure patient and caregiver safety

Once the crisis is past, the patient and their family continue to work with their Care Manager who will provide them with long-term support, guidance, training, counseling, products and resources.

What makes us different?  One call is ALL it takes...  You will work with one company and one care manager from the time of your initial call, through complete crisis resolution.  All necessary care, services, support, products and guidance will be provided by ElderCare at Home directly.  Our reputation speaks for itself.  When you need help, reach out to ElderCare at Home & ElderCare Resource Center.

Counseling services are available in person, online, by telephone or via email. For more information visit Coaching for Caregivers
